The Lowe residence was a great challenge and opportunity. The site included a tight yard in the front sloping down to the back yard ending in a lake. The clients required a parking court and a lawn for the kids to play in the front. In the rear of the home they wanted a large entertaining area that connects the house to the lakefront. This required the construction of large Chilton Limestone retaining walls to level the space out and provide flat areas. Other elements the project included are Low voltage lighting around the whole landscape, an outdoor kitchen area, and a water directing ceiling under the deck. Hardscape materials used were: Unilock Richcliff with a detail of Unilock Cobblestone for the patio. Outcropping, two-man Chilton Limestone for the walls.
